Orthopedic Massage

Orthopedic massage focuses on releasing tense muscles, stretching and lengthening tight muscles and connective tissue, and improving joint mobility and/or stability.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help improve circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved circulation, and greater flexibility.

Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular therapy uses a holistic approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Neuromuscular therapy also enhances the function of joints and muscles, and accelerates the overall healing process by facilitating the release of trigger points.  Neuromuscular therapy techniques may include deep tissue work, cross fiber friction and fascia release.

Active Isolated Stretching

Developed by Aaron Mattes, Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) is a dynamic system for improving your flexibility and overall well-being. As you probably already know, stretching your muscles not only reduces your chance of injury, but also strengthens your tendons and improves your circulation. AIS helps reestablish and reset proprioceptor communication between our brains and our muscles. AIS is available as a standalone service or an add-on to your massage.

ACE Massage Cupping

ACE Massage Cupping™ bodywork is a pleasant and gentle, non-invasive technique that achieves powerful results in releasing tight, contracted muscle tissue; pain reduction, joint mobilization, lymph drainage, area improvements in circulation, scar reduction pre- and post-operative therapy to shorten recovery time and enhance surgical outcomes. Cupping is available as an add-on service to your massage.

Himalayan Salt Stone Therapy

Heated Himalayan salt stones are combined with deep Swedish strokes to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. The overall experience is very relaxing to the central nervous system leaving you feeling grounded and nurtured. Hot stones are available as an add-on service to your massage session.

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a Japanese form of massage therapy. The word Shiatsu comes from two Japanese words - "shi" (finger) and "atsu" (pressure). In addition to the direct stimulation of pressure points along the energy pathways of your body, gentle stretching techniques are applied over a wider area of the body to integrate the point work and encourage the flow of Chi (energy) throughout the body. Shiatsu is a meditative healing art that honors the body, mind and spirit. Shiatsu may be incorporated into your session at the therapist's discretion.

Reiki

Reiki is a form of energy work that cleanses and balances the energy system in the body. As a result, the body's natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum health. Reiki utilizes a gentle laying on of hands to initiate the energy flow. The practitioner acts as a conduit to stimulate your own natural life force energy. The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain. Reiki is naturally incorporated into every massage session.
